Moderation policy

This policy does not authorize live moderation.

An approved operating policy can permit routine issue review. This includes finding duplicates and linking to the source documentation.

Get explicit human authorization before you:

• Publish a post or contact a user directly.
• Ban a user or remove content.
• Resolve an account ownership dispute.
• Take another moderation action with significant effects.

Record the reason for each decision. Give the user a way to appeal.

Do not send unsolicited messages or run promotional automation. Keep private moderator notes outside Git.
